FREE EBOOKLET http://www.sweetnaturalliving.com After 10 years of not cutting my hair, I decided it was time to let the dreadlocks go. It’s been an emotional and psychologically interesting process that brought up a lot of attachments and beliefs to the surface. Let’s talk about it!

There’s no doubt, I’ve been enjoying letting my hair do exactly as it pleases for the last 10 years. Freeform locks require no maintenance whatsoever and more importantly it’s a powerful practice to allow the hair to reach its full potential and accept our bodies exactly how they are – before scissor, comb and razor.

There is a time for everything however, and over the last few months I’ve been feeling the need to cut. Release. Let go. Lighten up. So I did it.

I think cutting long hair after many years is always going to be an emotional experience. Maybe especially so for men simply due to the fact that letting your hair grow in the first place is in defiance of the norms of what a man should look like.

In this episode I’ll share some of the insights that I made about attachment, body identification, belief systems and allowing for the spontaneous flow of life without resistance.
